General Accounting

•  Manage day-to-day GL postings and ensure accurate and timely month-end closing in compliance with IFRS standards.
• Execute monthly closing activities across accounting modules (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.) and prepare necessary journal entries.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Support business users to ensure transactions are recorded under correct GL accounts and cost centers.
• Maintain chart of accounts and accounting master data (GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers).
• Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with global and local accounting policies, procedures, and SOPs.

Reporting

• Prepare timely monthly financial reports in SAP in accordance with Local GAAP and IFRS requirements.
• Analyze managerial reports and support budgeting and latest estimate (LE) processes.

Tax

• Prepare quarterly corporate income tax (CIT) and deferred tax calculations, including half-year tax estimations and timely tax return submissions.
• Coordinate with auditors on annual corporate income tax computation and manage the tax filing process.
• Review and ensure accuracy of VAT and withholding tax (WHT) calculations and submissions in collaboration with the AP team.
• Support tax audits and provide required information and documentation to tax authorities and related parties.

Treasury

• Manage intercompany transactions. Ensure to complete all crossed-charge items. Work with related parties to obtain information for proper charge-out/in within the timeline. Manage to resolve any intercompany cross-charge issues.
• To support intercompany loan/ interest records and any necessary ICO payment.
• Prepare cash flow update and forecast and assist to manage company cash flow.

 Fixed Asset Control & Management

• Maintain fixed asset master data, capitalization, and reconciliation in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Monitor fixed asset movements and depreciation to ensure accuracy of asset records.
• Ensure proper internal controls, asset verification, and tagging processes are in place.
• Manage fixed asset disposals in accordance with company policies and local tax regulations.
• Resolve fixed asset issues and provide guidance to teams on fixed asset procedures.

Inventory/Stock accounting

• Manage to ensure the correctness of stock balances. Work with plant controller/or related team on inventory management.
• Manage team on stock count as per Finance Policy.
• Prepare the month end closing for the stock revaluation and necessary stock adjustment.

Other Support duties

• Prepare annual statutory financial statements.
• Perform checking on audit programs to ensure good controls are maintained.
• Ad hoc assignments by Accounting & Reporting manager.
• Support Project New Asia Factory & BOI related matters
