Grocery National Account Manager

BEAR is an ambitious, young company which makes pure fruit snacks. BEAR yoyos is UK's number 1 kids fruit snacking brand and continues to grow. We also make Urban fruit, gently baked fruit to eat on the go for those 25-45 year olds who lead busy lives.   You will devise and deliver exceptional business plans with key Grocery and online customers, ensuring sales of our fantastic BEAR products are maximised at key trading periods and securing fantastic launches for innovation.

  • You boost sales via great business plans with key grocery and online customers.
  • You manage P&L and forecasting of assigned accounts and deliver value, volume and profit metrics. 
  • You build unrivalled cross functional relationships with key customer contacts across buying, supply chain, category and format teams. 
  • You utilise customer systems to maximlise our sales including influencing availablitiy, compliance, promotion management.
  • You work closely with the BEAR field sales team to deliver strong local activation.
  • You deliver top class visibility and penetration through bringing BEAR alive in stores.
  • You work with the category manager to deliver killer insights that drive significant business benefits. 


  • You will likely be an existing National Account manager with experience of working on the Top 4 retail accounts. You might also be an awesome National Account executive who has had direct P&L accountability and worked on Grocery. 
  • You have a great track record of driving sales and profitability while working on the biggest FMCG accounts.
  • You are result driven and can show examples of stong, tangible business results that you have led personally.
  • Resilience and tenacity are your strenghts - obstacles don't hold you back and you work effectively when faced with a tough buyer or tricky negotiation.
  • Analytical - you are all over the data and can bring new and relevant insights on your accounts.
  • Great relationship builder - you are responsible and have a collaborative attitude to working with the buyer, getting the result we need for BEAR but in a repsonsible and natural manner
