Quality Assistant (Halal Supervisor)

• Document Compilation : Compile and maintain all documents required for Quality & Halal implementation and completeness in line with the standards.
• Material Documentation : Prepare material lists and supporting documents to verify Halal compliance of all inputs.
• Supervision : Oversee Halal materials, processes, and products to ensure adherence to Halal requirements.
• Non‑Conformance Handling : Manage products that do not meet Halal criteria, including corrective actions and reporting.
• Internal Audit : Conduct internal audits of the Halal to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Audit Follow‑up : Perform follow‑up evaluations of internal audit results to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Halal Training: Organize and deliver training sessions for factory employees to build awareness and competency in Halal standards and practices.
• Sample Management: Manage retain samples and coordinate sample submissions for external parties such as external laboratories, Corporate QA, and R&D teams.
• Quality Support: Assist Quality Engineers in daily operations to ensure compliance with quality and Halal standards
Profiel
Education (degree):• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field (preferred).
Specific knowledge:
• Authorized to perform Halal verification tasks in accordance with Halal certification requirements.• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to ensuring Halal compliance in line with company policies and certification standards.• Understanding of food safety, quality management, and regulatory compliance
Experience :• Experience in food production or quality assurance roles.• Halal certification system and implementation.
Language: • Able to communication and writing in English.
Personal competences:• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and external auditors.• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills• Training Skills: Ability to assist in preparing training materials, conducting basic sessions, and supporting employee learning.EHS Requirement : • EHS Compliance: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Lotus’s Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.• Environmental and Safety Awareness: Actively contribute to maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment by identifying, reporting, and mitigating potential environmental or safety hazards.
Quality & Food Safety Requirement : • Food Safety & Quality Compliance : Demonstrate an understanding and ensure that Quality , Food Safety , Authenticity and Legality are maintained and full compliance with the standards including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), BRCGS , HALAL and other relevant standards as business requirement.
