As Group FSQA Process Engineer, you focus on certification and internal audits. You ensure food safety, quality and certification excellence across Lotus Bakeries by strengthening our Quality Management System and embedding global standards. Through close collaboration with production sites worldwide, you lead audits and drive continuous improvement at scale.

Functiebeschrijving

  • Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with GFSI standards (IFS, BRCGS), internal policies and third‑party certification requirements
  • Coordinate and maintain all quality sustainability certifications (e.g. RSPO, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance,…) and other (e.g. Halal, Kosher, Vegan,…)
  • Translate updates in certification standards into Lotus Bakeries guidelines, ensuring clear communication and effective training for the local quality managers
  • Organise and follow up on external certification audits and non‑GFSI third‑party audits, ensuring timely closure of non‑conformities
  • Set up, manage and optimise the annual internal audit program covering all relevant standards, including the training of new auditors
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and audit teams to drive continuous improvement and strengthen quality awareness across the organisation

Profiel

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Food Technology, Bio-engineering or a related field.
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in food safety, quality management and/or certification standards, and are motivated to further develop your expertise in this area.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, and are able to express your enthusiasm and point of view in a convincing and diplomatic manner.
  • You have strong project management skills and can work autonomously while effectively collaborating with colleagues across departments and international sites.
  • You combine analytical and organizational skills with a pragmatic, hands‑on and solution‑oriented mindset.
  • You are fluent in English and feel comfortable working in an international environment. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
