As an Application Analyst, you play a crucial role within the Lotus Bakeries application team, concentrating on the implementation, development, support, and optimization of business applications and processes associated with manufacturing. You manage different ICT projects by taking ownership of SAP modules, support non-SAP applications (MES) and offer general advice, support and consultancy to stakeholders and key users.

Job description

  • You are a key player in guiding our industry 4.0 roadmap from design to implementation and continuous improvement in all plants.
  • Taking ownership of the Sap modules within your domain, you support, enhance and introduce these modules at the different locations of the Lotus Bakeries Group, as well as supporting the organization with non-SAP related applications such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) as well.
  • Acting as Application owner for both SAP and non-SAP applications, you are the expert and architect, taking ownership of the application lifecycle management, including the interface architecture
  • You are in regular contact with key users from Lotus Bakeries manufacturing sites across the world and guide them on how to make the best use of standard functionality within SAP and other software and combine it with industry best practices.
  • You configure new processes and recommend IT solutions to optimize business processes.
  • As projectlead, you deliver projects within scope, time and budget, as well as realizing and deploying new functional solutions to cover business needs.
  • You assist the users in getting the best IT Support and coach business representatives to become self-supportive

Profile

  • You have a Master’s degree in a relevant study field, combined with at least 5 years of experience in SAP manufacturing modules such as planning & production, ...  
  • You have excellent knowledge of integration with MES systems. Having participated in an SAP end-to-end roll-out and having managed specific projects within manufacturing is vital in this role.
  • You are flexible and have a natural drive to continuously improve processes and ways of working, a team player who finds it easy to absorb and transfer knowledge.
  • You have a high level of self-confidence, initiative, creativity and accuracy, combined with a hands-on can-do attitude.
  • You feel at ease in a fast-paced, quickly changing work environment.
  • Given the fact that out production facilities are around the world, regular travel is part of the job.
