Key Account Manager Retail

Job description
- Develop and implement customer growth plans in line with the Lotus Bakeries strategy
- Develop and maintain strong commercial customer relationships and become the expert of your dedicated customers and the retail landscape
- Prepare, support/lead annual negotiations together with the National Key Account Manager
- Ensure execution of contract objectives to achieve mutual growth and commercial objectives
- Adapt national brand and marketing strategies to customer-specific plans, focusing on product listings, promotions, and displays
- Budget & forecast planning incl. tracking/steering of target achievement for your dedicated customers
- Collaborate with CatMan to analyze your customers and identify future potential
- Create customer-specific selling stories
- Represent Lotus Bakeries as a brand ambassador and share our enthusiasm and passion for our brands
- Handle administrative, logistical, and financial customer tasks in coordination with Sales Assistants and other departments.
Profile
- Academic Excellence: A master’s degree in economics or a related field.
- Initial Expertise: You have first/ at least two years of experience in the German retail and/or in managing Key Account within the German retail landscape; having experienced working in a field sales force is an advantage
- Customer Insights: You present good knowledge and understanding of the German retail landscape and customer structures within FMCG (single- and multi-level trade)
- Negotiation Skills: You have first experience in customer negotiations and achieved first track record with your customers responsible for, such as implementing promotional activities, best-in-class executions for listings, etc.
- Data-driven decision maker: You enjoy working with numbers, analyzing data and even have first experience with Circana, Nielsen, Mapis, YouGov, etc.
- Operational excellence: Driving results, you enjoy taking on responsibility and initiative and manage multiple tasks in parallel
- Language Skills: Fluency in German (full professional proficiency) and a strong command of English (written and spoken).
