Job description
Category Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a long-term category strategy to drive sustainable revenue and market share for Biscuits & Natural Foods categories
- Lead growth initiatives, optimizing assortment, pricing architecture, instore presence and promotional strategies
- Identify market trends and shopper insights to shape winning business strategies
Brand Development & Performance
- Craft long-term brand strategies and growth plans for Biscoff & NF brands
- Ensure excellent execution of the annual brand plan across touchpoints with the team
- Monitor market & brand performance, identifying risks & opportunities
- Drive data-informed decision-making in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Customer & Channel Excellence
- Act as the key point of contact for sales, ensuring alignment between strategy and customer execution
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key retailers to drive mutual growth
- Develop compelling sell-in stories, ensuring maximum impact with retail partners
Budget & Resource Optimization
- Oversee budget allocation, ensuring maximum impact & ROI and prioritize high-performance marketing & trade activities
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, inspire & grow a high-performing team (3 direct reports)
- Collaborate closely with local cross-functional teams, global teams, and central functions
Profile
- Academic Excellence: A master’s degree in economics, marketing, communications or equivalent
- Proven Expertise: 5+ years in Category Management, Shopper/Trade Marketing or Revenue Growth Management within FMCG companies; ideally experience in Brand Management
- Commercial Strategist: Profound conceptual and analytical skills to identify and lift the right potentials with a clear measurement of the success for the overall business
- Consumer Insights: Comprehensive knowledge of relevant panel data (e.g., GfK, Circana, YouGov), including the ability to analyze and strategically leverage this data and convert into compelling storylines
- Operational excellence: Proven track record in strategic planning, market analysis & brand growth
- Project Management: Ability to navigate cross-functional & international collaboration
- Leadership Mind-set: Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop & inspire teams
- Language Skills: Fluency in German (full professional proficiency) and a strong command of English (written and spoken).
